ALICE COOPER: ALONG CAME A SPIDER

Along Came A Spider, Alice Cooper's another concept album, finds him singing from the perspective of a serial killer named Spider, who wraps his eight victims in silk webs after cutting one leg off each person, creating one giant arachnid monstrosity. While the lyrics are packed with Cooper's ghoulish punchlines the music sorely lacks former longtime Cooper collaborator Bob Ezrin's bombastic production. When most people reach the age of 60, they begin to think about retirement or at least toning things down. The same cannot be said for rock legend Alice Cooper. Along many of his peers such as Ozzy Osbourne, Cooper has found the fountain of youth and continues to put out quality albums and is still a great live act.
