ALICE COOPER: FLUSH THE FASHION

Ever the rock chameleon Cooper does a 360 and produces what is effectively a new wave album. Major changes take place in Cooper's backing band with Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter no where to be found. Cooper's main writing partner on this one is Davy Johnstone, best known as Elton John's guitarist. Flush The Fashion takes a whole lot of his earlier garage rock posturing and lyrical leanings and packages them up in a fusion of rock, pop and synth new wave. In typical Cooper style, he didn't take the change in fashion lying down. The album is produced by Roy Thomas Baker of Queen and The Cars fame.
