ALICE COOPER: LOVE IT TO DEATH

Love It to Death was the first truly classic Alice Cooper album and has left a lasting impact on many musicians and fans. Its origins are actually fairly humble given that this was the first truly cohesive effort by the Alice Cooper Group. Musically, it's primarily hard rock with occasional forays into heavy psych, pop/rock and their old Acid Rock tendencies. Love It To Death is the culmination of three solid years of trial and error for a band struggling to find their sound and image. It's a masterpiece, not because every song is perfect, but because it changed the landscape of rock and roll.
