AMBROSIA: LIFE BEYOND L.A.

Ambrosia's third album (and first for Warner Bros.) is more commercial and less conceptual than their first two releases. It also represents the beginning of the band's decline, although how low they would go is only slightly hinted at here. For prog content, this album would not rate highly with most progressive rock fans. For pure musical enjoyment however, and the three or four really strong pop rock songs, it is an essential part of Ambrosia's catalog.
