BEE GEES: LIFE IN A TIN CAN
The Bee Gees moved their base of operations from England to America, specifically to Los Angeles, in the early '70s, and Life In A Tin Can was the result of their first recording sessions out there. This is a concept album about a man wrongfully imprisoned for murder. He escapes and lives as a fugitive across the USA until he's cleared when the real killer confesses. The songs are among the Bee Gees' best, exploring a folk/country direction more than they had in the past. It was their commercial nadir but one of their artistic high points.
